A result of the exceptionally hot, drought conditions in Elgin during 2017, our Sauvignon Blanc grapes dried on the vine, prompting swift action from our winemaker to transform them into this exceptional Noble Late Harvest. The shortened growing season produced faster-ripening fruit with concentrated flavours and balanced acidity. The wine was matured in French oak barrels for 24 months.
Bright golden in the glass, it offers a vibrant, tantalising palate. The nose is layered with citrus blossom, honeycomb and stone fruit, aromas that follow through onto the palate. Full-bodied and richly textured, the mouthfeel is creamy yet lifted by refreshing acidity, finishing with a lingering, zesty clarity.
